This is very valuable information and would like to see more details if possible.

I'm a system admin and have been always fascinated with the IT architect role. I have watched and studied each of our company's architect (about 12) and have learned plenty from them... Using your Five Area findings, I can intelligently score each IT architect... Not surprisingly, those who I have admired the most, seem to have mastered all of the 5 areas, well... almost!

Thank you for your contributions.

Check out http://www.aogea.org/
The open group is working on that same quest.
Also, what do you think about positioning the role of IT Architect within the broader scope of the Information Systema discipline ?
