PDC Next Week!
Well, it's been a while since I posted. Instead of making excuses about lavish vacations (of which there are none!), I thought I would instead tell you about PDC next week in LA:
If you've been following the current agenda of sessions, I don't have to tell you that PDC looks awesome this year. Even as a presenter there are so many sessions that I want to attend myself.
For interoperability-related stuff, check out the following:
Interoperability BOF (Monday 9.30) – more details to come on this, but I hear rumors of a very interesting interoperability BOF in the works. More on this later.
COM423 (Thursday 3.15pm) – Kirill Gavrylyuk and I will be presenting on "WCF: Web Services Interoperability" in this session. We've been working hard to ensure that the demos you see in this talk are a) as realistic as possible b) not repeats of anything you've seen before. I wouldn't be lying if I were to say we're getting close to the wire getting a couple of these actually working by Thursday, but it should be a very interesting session regardless.
ARCSYM (Friday 8.30am – 12pm) – This is the Architecture Symposium on Friday. Adam Denning, Mike Burner, Harry Pierson, Brenton Webster, Arvindra Sehmi, Beat Schwegler and I are putting on what hopefully is a real-life overview of a project in the hands of an architect. After a week of hearing cool stuff that's on it's way, our plan is to ask the question – how do I do this today?
Check here for a full drilldown in to the agenda itself.
Of course, if you at PDC and would like to meet up in person, feel free to drop me an Email using the form on this page. Alternatively, stop by the WCF pavillion / lounges where I'll likely be hanging out as I work on my demos!
